Alvin Murstein has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medallion Financial Corp. since its founding in 1995 and has been Chief Executive Officer of Medallion Financial Corp. since February, 1996. Mr. Murstein has also been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medallion Funding Corp. since its founding in 1979 and of Medallion Taxi Media, Inc. since its founding in 1994. Mr. Murstein also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Tri-Magna Corp. from its founding in 1989 until its acquisition by Medallion Financial Corp. in 1996. Mr. Murstein received a B.A. and an M.B.A. from New York University and has been an executive in the taxicab industry for over 60 years. Alvin Murstein is the father of Andrew Murstein.

Andrew Murstein is a founder, Board Member, and President of Medallion Financial Corp. His family is also the largest shareholder. Medallion's predecessor company was started in 1937. Medallion and its subsidiaries have lent over $10 billion to small businesses. He and Medallion Financial Corp. have been featured in articles in the Wall Street Journal, American Banker, U.S. Banker, Forbes, and numerous other media outlets. Mr. Murstein received a B.A. graduating cum laude from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from New York University.


Anthony N. Cutrone Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Medallion Financial Corp.

Anthony N. Cutrone has been Chief Financial Officer since January 2022. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Finance of the Company since May 2021 and previously served as the Assistant Controller and the Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting from October 2007 through September 2020. From October 2020 through May 2021, Mr. Cutrone served as a Corporate Controller of Triplepoint Capital, LLC. From March 2004 to October 2007, he served as a Manager at Charles A. Barragato & Co., LLP (BDO USA, LLP). Prior to that, he served as an Audit Senior of BDO Seidman, LLP from October 2001 to March 2004. Mr. Cutrone is a certified public accountant and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Hofstra University.

Marisa T. Silverman - Chief Compliance Officer & General Counsel

Marisa T. Silverman has served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer since March 2015, as Secretary since August 2019, and as Executive Vice President since February 2023. Ms. Silverman joined Medallion Financial Corp. in November 2004 serving first as Legal Intern and as Assistant General Counsel beginning in September 2005. Ms. Silverman received a B.A. in Political Science from Bard College and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.

Thomas Munson - Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer

Thomas Munson Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer, Medallion Financial Corp.

Thomas J. Munson has served as Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer of Medallion Financial Corp. since February 2017. Mr. Munson joined MFC in October 2012, serving as SVP of the Medallion lending division. Prior to joining MFC, Mr. Munson was a Vice President of Valley National Bank (formerly State Bank of Long Island) in their Middle Market/Commercial Lending Group. Mr. Munson received a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from The University of Scranton and an M.B.A. from Long Island University.
